Frequently asked questions
Answers on the ServiceProSites offer: what is included, onboarding, revisions, articles, the AI Engine, hosting, domains, moving your current site and billing.
The offer
What exactly do I get for the monthly fee?
A fully managed website built for a cleaning or home service company: custom-coded pages, a page for each service and each town you serve, a quote form routed into your CRM, managed hosting, a free domain, and weekly revisions. There is nothing itemised on top, other than the $647 one-time build fee invoiced after launch and, on Dispatch Pro and Fleet Command, the AI and content add-ons.
How long until my site is live?
7 days on Crew Starter, 10 on Dispatch Pro while the AI agents are trained, and 15 on Fleet Command with the content engine running. The clock starts at the onboarding call, not at purchase, so the sooner the form is in, the sooner you are live.
What is the actual difference between the three plans?
Crew Starter is the site itself: fast pages, service and area pages, the quote form, hosting and weekly updates. Dispatch Pro adds the AI Engine, an AI receptionist, site chat and SMS follow-up trained on your business. Fleet Command adds the Content Engine on top of that: three articles a week instead of two, social posts, reels and a managed Google Business Profile. Every plan includes the same core site and hosting.
Getting started
What happens straight after I buy?
You fill in the onboarding form and submit it. It asks for your services, the towns you serve, your crews, your domain and where enquiries should land, and it takes about 15 minutes. If something is missing, submit anyway: you can send the rest by email or raise it as a ticket in your client portal, and it will not hold up the build. We then run one onboarding call to fill any gaps and agree the launch date.
What is the client portal?
It is your account with us, and you get it the day your site goes live. From the portal you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files you still owe us, and message our team directly. Everything to do with your site runs through it, so nothing gets lost in an inbox. You never log in to the website itself; we handle that side.
What should I have ready before the onboarding call?
A list of the services you offer, the towns or zip codes your crews actually cover, your current pricing structure by frequency if you run recurring jobs, and any logo or brand colors you already use. If you do not have all of it yet, come to the call anyway. We work with what exists and fill gaps as revisions once the rest is ready.
Revisions and the client portal
What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?
A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. A new area page, a new service, updated prices, a different photo, a season change: each is one revision. So is something much larger. "Build three new area pages, here is the copy and photos for all of them" is one revision, not three. 5 are included every month. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days of you sending it, whatever the size.
How do I actually request a change?
Raise it in your client portal. You describe the change, attach anything we need, and it lands with the team as a tracked request so you can see where it is. You can also email us or reply to any thread with our team, and we log it for you.
Do unused revisions roll over to the next month?
No. The monthly allowance resets each cycle and does not carry over, so a quiet month does not bank extra revisions for a busier one. If you know a bigger update is coming, such as adding a new service line or a batch of new area pages, tell us and we can plan the request across the right billing cycle.
Articles
What do the researched articles actually cover?
Topics your customers actually search before booking a job: how a recurring cleaning plan is priced, what to expect from a move-out clean, how to prepare for a post-construction cleanup, and similar practical questions in the cleaning and home service space. Each article is 2,500 to 3,200 words and cites its sources, and it links back into your own service and area pages so new content strengthens the pages that convert.
Who writes the articles, and how many publish per week?
Named editorial personas with published bio pages, not an anonymous feed. 2 articles a week publish on Crew Starter and Dispatch Pro, and 3 a week on Fleet Command as part of the Content Engine. Every statistic in every article links to the source it came from; we never invent a figure to make an article sound more authoritative.
The AI Engine
What does the AI Engine actually do?
On Dispatch Pro and Fleet Command, an AI receptionist answers calls, a chat widget answers questions on the site, and follow-up runs by SMS, Messenger and Instagram, all trained on your services, areas and pricing structure. It takes job details and books or hands off to a person rather than guessing at anything that sounds like a firm quote. Every call is summarized into a call-analysis PDF, and A2P 10DLC carrier registration for business SMS is filed on your behalf.
Is the AI Engine included in every plan, and what does it cost?
No, it starts on Dispatch Pro. That plan is priced $247 a month plus the usage the AI Engine generates that month, so the cost tracks how much it is actually used rather than a flat guess. Crew Starter does not include it; Fleet Command includes everything Dispatch Pro does plus the Content Engine.
Hosting and management
Is hosting an extra cost?
No. Hosting is included in the monthly fee and never billed separately. Your site runs on Cloudflare's global network with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth included. There is no hosting invoice, no SSL renewal, no bandwidth overage and no surprise line item in month four.
What happens if the site goes down or breaks?
We monitor uptime and handle platform updates and security patching, so this is on us rather than something you discover from a customer. If a fix is needed outside a scheduled revision, we raise and resolve it from our side and you see it reflected in your client portal rather than an invoice.
Domains
Do I have to pay for a domain?
No. One domain is included free for as long as your plan is active, registered in your name through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship, so you own it outright. If you already have a domain we point it at the new site instead and nothing changes for customers who know your current address. If you ever leave, tell us where to send the domain and we transfer it at no charge.
Can I keep the domain I already use for my company?
Yes. Tell us the domain during onboarding and we point it at the new site instead of registering a new one. Existing email addresses, business cards and vehicle wraps carrying that domain keep working with no changes needed on your end.
Moving from your current site
We already have a website. What happens to it?
We build the new site alongside your current one and switch your domain over only once the new site is live and approved, so there is no gap where nothing is online. Your current site can be taken down, redirected to preserve any search rankings it has, or left as is, depending on what you tell us during onboarding.
Will our current customers notice anything change?
Your phone number, email address and any booking links you already share stay the same unless you ask us to change them. The main visible change is the site itself: faster pages, clearer service and area pages, and a quote form that routes straight into your scheduling system instead of an inbox.
Do you migrate our existing content, service descriptions and photos?
Yes, where they are worth keeping. Send us what you have during onboarding, service descriptions, photos of finished jobs, existing pricing, and we rebuild it into the new site's structure rather than starting from a blank page. Anything outdated, such as an area you no longer serve, gets flagged rather than carried forward automatically.
Billing and cancellation
What do I actually pay, and when?
You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $117, $247 plus AI usage, or $597 a month. The $647 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Domain and hosting are inside the monthly figure.
How do I cancel, and how much notice do you need?
Email us and say you want to cancel. Your message must reach us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours, which are 9:00 to 17:00 Central Time, Monday to Friday. A message sent outside those hours counts from the start of the next business day, so a weekend email does not give 2 business days of notice for an invoice due Monday or Tuesday. With valid notice, no further invoice is raised and your site runs to the end of the month you have paid for. With late notice, the next invoice is charged as normal and the cancellation takes effect at the end of that month.
Do you offer refunds?
No. All sales are final, and that includes monthly fees, the build fee, extra revisions and any cost we pass through at what our providers charge us. We do not refund for a change of mind or for a month you did not use. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days. The build fee is charged only after you have approved your site, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterwards.
What happens if a payment is missed or declined?
We email and try the charge again before anything changes on your site. If a payment continues to fail past that, work on revisions pauses until it clears, though your site stays live. Persistent non-payment is handled the same as a cancellation without notice, ending the plan at the close of the last paid month.
